2. Registration, processing and use of your personal data
When you visit our website and in some way provide us with personal information about yourself (e.g. for the registration of a personal account), we may collect and process the following personal information: first name, last name, address, mobile telephone number, sex, email address.
Your personal data can be used for the following purposes: to improve the content of our services, for our internal administration, to invite you for Start it @KBC events, activities and meetings, to connect with Start-Ups and the professional network of Start it @KBC, to send you our newsletters and to enable you to comment on the Start it @KBC website. We can contact you by telephone, by SMS or by email in the context of this information.
In case you have created a personal account, your personal data can be used to register as a member and to give access to (the confined spaces of) Start it @KBC via a login procedure. Start it @KBC uses your phone and e-mail address from your Start it @KBC account to contact you for the follow-up of your file (eg pitch invitation, questions from reviewers, feedback, etc.).
To send you our newsletter we use the e-mail address you have provided and require your confirmation that you, as the owner of the e-mail address, agree with the receipt. If you do not want to receive a newsletter from us anymore, you can unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of the newsletter at any time.
To enable you to comment on the Start it @KBC website, you must always enter your name and e-mail address. Start it @KBC does not accept anonymous comments. Your name will be published with your comment. The e-mail address is not published, but only serves an internal check.
START IT @ KBC will keep your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the objectives described above, as long as the law requires but not longer than recommended by the privacy commission (Belgian Data Protection Authority).
